oktober/honk fests: cambridge at it's cambridgiest!

so, cambridge is really it's own entity. quite a special place indeed. this is only a small portion of what i saw there today. this cop was barely able to mask his disgust, which kind of made me giggle.
live music was  plentiful, as were the carts selling various foods and jewels. especially enjoyed lake street dive's set at club passim's stage on the corner of brattle and church. singer-girl has some pipes and stand-up bass girl played the hell out of that thing. trumpet/guitar guy worked it out damn well, and drummer-guy was smooth and sweet as jello instant pudding blended with an electric mixer. plus, they were all quite adorable and played a cover of "faith" by george michael (i think, or "freedom"...- whichever it was, i liked it).
